Campus Printing with PrintWhere® — free print driver for Windows

PrintWhere® enables you to easily print from any Windows application to printers supported by your Campus Printing System. PrintWhere is normally able to print from anywhere, including common areas, libraries, labs or even your home or dormitory.

When you install PrintWhere, a printer icon Choose a Printer icon is installed in your system tray. Clicking this icon will bring up the Choose a Printer dialog. Simply select the printer you wish to use from any recently used or discovered printer on your network, or enter keywords to find a printer.

PrintWhere - choose a printer

PrintWhere will ensure that only those paper sizes and duplex features approved by the Adminstrator may be used. PrintWhere also encrypts print jobs in transit to protect any confidential information in your documents.

Confirm Destination dialog

When you print, a pop-up dialog will ask you to confirm your print request. This is your opportunity to cancel print jobs that are being sent to the wrong printer, are an unexpected number of pages, or are more expensive than you anticipated. If necessary, you may also be asked to enter a user ID or a release code for collecting your document. In some locations, PrintWhere will also add a cover / separator page to help identify your print job.

Approve Print Job dialog

PrintWhere is available for Windows 2000, XP and 2003 operating systems. You require "Administrator" privileges (the ability to install print drivers) on your computer to install and use PrintWhere.
