PrinterOn Envoy (later replaced by PrinterOn Enterprise) introduced for document printing from Internet-enabled wireless handheld devices to virtually any printer. PrinterOn is the first to offer services for printing documents from a handheld device to a fax machine and a printer.

PrintWhere launched. PrintWhere is PrinterOn's universal print driver that enables Internet document delivery from your Windows computer to any Internet-connected printer, anywhere in the world.

PrinterOn makes first debut in the US at Seybold San Francisco, North America's leading event delivering Web and print publishing solutions. The Seybold Editors select PrinterOn as a "Hot Pick", which honors the most interesting products and technologies that reflect the future direction of the publishing industry.

PrinterOn announces acquisition of Spicer Corporation, a leader in information viewing software. Spicer Corporation, headquartered in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of PrinterOn Corporation.

First round of private equity financing completed at $27.5 million. This first round capital injection funds the pre-IPO growth phase of the business. The capital raised is applied to PrinterOn sales, marketing, and sustaining the fast-paced growth of the business.

PrinterOn founded with Steve Spicer, president and CEO, leading the company. PrinterOn provides products and services to print documents from any Internet-enabled computer or wireless device to virtually any printer in the world.

Product development gets underway for PrinterOn. The company creates pioneering technology built on a new open standard for printing over the Internet called IPP (Internet Printing Protocol).

Steve Spicer founds Spicer Corporation, a global leader in developing software technology for the visual access, collaboration, and distribution of data. Spicer Corporation is focused on client-side electronic document view, markup, and edit software. With a tradition of robust, reliable, and innovative product development, Spicer pioneered many of the standard features found in imaging products today.
